Size & fit guide
We work hard to develop the most comfortable underwear with amazing fit for various body shapes and sizes. Still, when shopping online it can sometimes be tricky to choose the right size or fit. We’re here to guide you! Follow the steps below to help you to choose the right size and fit.
Step 1: Take your measurements
First things first: measure yourself and compare to our size chart below.
Make sure the measuring tape is horizontal and follows your body closely, yet not too tightly. Waist measurement should be taken at the narrowest point of your waist, and hip measurements at the fullest part of your hip or bottom.
This step might be enough for you to find your right size and fit, although we recommend you read on.
Step 2: Consider your preferred fit
Some people prefer a tighter fit, while others prefer a looser fit. This really comes down to preference, so consider sizing down or up depending on what you feel most comfortable in.
Please note that for leakproof underwear to be efficiently absorbent and leakproof, you do not need to choose a tight fit. For some, it feels nice to not wear too tight underwear while menstruating, not least due to bloating, and you can easily go for a looser fit without worrying, if that’s your preference.
We actually found during our product research and development that most period underwear from other brands feels way too tight. We deliberately wanted to challenge that with Hala leakproof underwear, and it turned out amazingly well!
